2017
Our founder Sandro Iacovella's PhD research at UC Berkeley and KU leuven directly led to the founding of ThermoVault. The first commercial contracts were signed and EU ecodesign certification was awarded. ThermoVault had its first megawatt of power under control.
2019
With the help of EU and Belgian innovation funding, our first installations abroad became a reality. The megawatt of power under our control has tripled.
2020
Closing a series of funding with the Ariston group, an OEM of electric storage water heaters and heat pumps. We celebrated the successful implementation of our first demand response flexibility contract.
2022
We tripled the megawatts under our control once more and launched our first OEM electric storage water heater in collaboration with the Ariston Group.
